Artist Virginia Wilson is offering inspiring classes in silk painting for both children and adults!
These classes provide insight into both the abstract and technical aspects of working with stretched silk, the gold resist "gutta" and brilliant colored fabric dyes.
 
Through Ginger's informal classes, her students learn methods for finding inspiration, pre-visioning, quick and free-form drawing and color application techniques in a relaxed hands on atmosphere. This method has provided students with an enjoyable class, and tangible results in the completion of a beautiful finished work of art. This can be in the form of a frameable painting or custom clothing such as scarves, purses or ties.
